What this site is

DAR Talks publishes documentation, testimony, and advocacy about the war on Sudan's women and girls. The material is provided for information and public-interest awareness. It is not legal advice, and nothing here creates a lawyer–client or adviser–client relationship.

Using the site

You may read, cite, and share our material for non-commercial, non-harmful purposes, with attribution. You may not:

  • use the site to harass, endanger, or identify survivors or any other individual;
  • attempt to breach security, disrupt the service, or access data you are not authorised to;
  • misrepresent the source of our material, or alter it in ways that change its meaning;
  • scrape or reuse content in ways that could endanger the people it documents.

Survivor testimony and sensitive material

Testimony and related material are published under strict, survivor-led consent. Do not attempt to re-identify, contact, or expose any person described on this site. How testimony is handled is set out in How we document.

Intellectual property

Original text and design are © DAR Talks unless stated otherwise. Cited third-party material — reports, images, data — belongs to its authors and is used for reference; their rights remain with them. To reuse our material, write to [email protected].

We document to a high standard and cite primary sources, but we cannot guarantee that every external source or link is complete, current, or free of error. When we learn of a mistake, we correct it. Corrections and disputes: [email protected].

The site links to third-party sites — partners, sources, and tools. We are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or availability.

No warranty; limitation of liability

The site is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, DAR Talks is not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site.
